Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. It is daughter to Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is a half-Spanish and an English-speaking woman. His father, an native of Argentina with Scottish and English descent is also her mother. Her mother is Spanish and English heritage. There are five siblings, four from her father's previous marriage. Her family lived living in Buenos Aires from the time she reached the age of six until they moved to Victoria, London. Taylor-Joy admitted that moving was traumatic and that she was unable to go back to school in English because she hoped to come back to Argentina. She was forced to transfer schools from Northlands to Hill House. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school productions. After 16 she left school in order to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy was a young actress that knew she was going to become one. Her dreams were realized when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
