Mischa Barton was born on 24 January 1986 in Hammersmith, England. The television show The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. Also, she was on screen in The Sixth Sense, a suspense thriller. Also, she was in the suspense movie the Sixth Sensation. It was one of the most popular TV shows. The O.C. is a very popular TV series which featured her. Benjamin McKenzie played her love-interest. Barton first made an appearance on TV in 1994, playing the role of the role of a young Corvina Lang as a flashback character in the soap opera All My Children. She replaced Michelle Trachtenberg, who had played Lily Benton Montgomery in the show. In 1996, Comaneci was elected into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame and, in 1999, she was recognized by ABC News and Ladies Home Journal for being named one of 100 of the most Important women of the 20th Century. In April 1996 Comaneci was married American Olympic Champion Bart Conner and they share a son Dylan Paul. They have a variety of companies that are related to gymnastics which include Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci has also been involved in various charities as a member of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association as well as Laureus Sports For Good Foundation Board of Directors. Additionally, she is still a supporter of dozens of charitable organizations in Romania. It is the case for Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital of Bucharest.
