Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is an extremely popular American after winning American Idol's inaugural season. Not only was the victory that brought Kelly Clarkson to fame as it also secured her a deal with RCA Records 19 Recordings & "S Records" for a series of albums. Since then, she's released a number recordings from her studio. In these albums that were released, three made the US Billboard 200 Chart while others were only two centimeters from. She was among America's top performers. To achieve her success she played around with various genres of music and experimented with themes. In recognition of her talent and distinctiveness, she's been rewarded with a variety of accolades and awards. In particular, she has received the Grammy Award a record three times. Alongside her music career, she also has had a stint in TV and film. She has also written the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been a part of various charities.
