Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton was born on the 19th January, 1946 on the 19th of January 1946 in Locust Ridge Tenn. She was raised alongside 12 other kids. Her imaginative mind helped her escape from the pressures of daily life. Before she could read and write she was making up her own songs. Her first guitar was given to her when she turned eight. She began singing in a Knoxville Tenn station by the age of eleven. Gold Band Records is a small label that is independent. In high school she made herself known to the school community but her goals were bigger. When she was graduating in 1964, she moved to Nashville. Dumb Blonde was her first single to reach the top of the charts on Monument Records. Around this time, Porter Wagoner was looking for the next girl to perform on the show he had syndicated to television. Parton was offered the gig and in the year 1967, she signed with RCA Records in 1968 and joined the Grand Ole Opry in 1969. But she resigned from the show in 1974 as her solo albums like Joshua Coat of Many Colors and Jolene had begun charting their collaborative efforts. Parton composed "I will Always Be Loving You" in support of Wagoner shortly after they separated. It reached number. First time, in 1974.
