SarahAahoo Jahansouzshahi (January 10, 1980) was professionally known as Sarah Shahi, is an American actress. She was previously a model. She was the character Carmen in the TV show The L Word, Kate Reed on USA Network's legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012) and Sameen Shaw in CBS Crime drama Person of Interest(2012-2016). Also, she was part of the main Det. Dani Reese in Life,[3] and in a supporting role in Alias. [4] She was the main character in Reverie in the year 2018. In 2019, she was as a regular in City on a Hill on Showtime[5] and was featured in seven episodes of The Rookie as romantic interest Jessica Russo While working as an extra on the set of Dr. T and the Women in Texas, Shahi met director Robert Altman, who encouraged her to go to Hollywood where she was offered roles in a variety of shows that included Alias, Dawson's Creek, Reba, and Supernatural. In 2005, she played the role of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales in the show The L Word. She was a part of the show's second season. Shahi's contract for two years was ended following the fourth season. Her character was removed from the show.
