Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan or Sundar Picha (Indian-American business executive) is more popularly known. He is one of the chief executive officers (CEOs) of Alphabet Inc., its subsidiary Google and was born in Madurai in India.[4Pichai graduated with a degree in metallurgical engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He earned an M.S. in the United States after relocating to the United States. He graduated with a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University. He also earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Pennsylvania. After a brief stint with the management consulting firm McKinsey and Co., Pichai joined Google in 2004 as a product manager. He directed the product management and innovation efforts for a suite of Google's software for clients, including Google Chrome as well as ChromeOS and also being the primary person responsible for Google Drive. He also oversees the development of Google Maps and Gmail. In 2010, Pichai also declared the open-sourcing of the new codec for video VP8 created by Google and announced the new format for video, WebM. The Chromebook was released in the year 2012. In 2013 Pichai added Android to the list of Google products that he managed.
